We Win

An Easter Poem

++++++++++++

The perfect completion of His mission,
All He had said He has done.
The free gift of eternal salvation - there for the asking,
Reconciled to the Father, through the Spirit by the Son.

The sacrifice of His shed blood on the cross needs never be repeated,
A divine act once for all-everything said and done.
What kind of love can you imagine-to willingly die for our sin?!
Born-again of the Spirit; accepting Christ as personal Savior...we have won.
On the hour of our salvation, we feel the ultimate exclamation;

Having been saved by faith alone through God's grace,
From slavery to sin...we shout to the universe:

+++ We win +++

May the peace of God which trancends all understanding guard your hearts and minds this coming Easter...and each day.

...............................Amen................................
