A Walk Worthwhile

When we yet traveled in total darkness,
Without benefit of a guiding light;
We knew not yet Gods' living waters,
Needing healing of our spiritual sight.

The day the Spirit convicted us, calling us to except the gift,
Being numbered among His faithful heirs,
Pre-destinated from before the beginning of the world,
Upon Him we cast all our cares.

When we take a wrong turn now and then,
Offending the one who paid our price;
Knowing He is faithful and just to forgive,
He washes us of all our sin.

Sanctification, such an important word,
A great challenge yes indeed;
Walking that narrow road with Jesus,
Looking forward to the city where we know it will lead.

When we finally see him face to face,
On the Glory Cloud from on high;
Our glorification realized thanks to his loving grace,
........It truly was a walk worthwhile
