Hi, everyone!HOMEAWAY Here! I know Storing all the things we want to save in the little space WEBTV gives us to do it in.....can be overflowing in just a short time. I just wanted to share something that i've been doing to beat this problem!....Can you cut and Paste?....If not, see this site on WEBTV CUT, COPY AND PASTE AS you know, WEBTV only allows us to have 20 folders, with 32 items in each one.....that's 640 total saved sites,images or pieces of music! That sounds like a lot....but in less than 6 months, mine were FULL!.....NOW WHAT? Well, you could do what i've been doing! When i have a folder Filled to capacity...i will take each item in that folder, one at a time, to an e-mail page until i have them all on one page to be sent back to myself!....I do this using the RECENT BUTTON and the MAIL BUTTON on the keyboard. The first thing i do is to go to the folder i want to clean out....i will click on the first item....once it loads up, i will hit the GOTO BUTTON....this will bring up a screen. Curser down to Last show, and hit the RETURN BUTTON,this will give you the ADDY of the site.... Now hold down the CMD BUTTON, and press the A BUTTON...this will hi-lite it!.....now , hold down the CMD BUTTON, and press the X BUTTON....this will save it. O-K, now take this saved addy back to Mail useing the MAIL BUTTON at the top of your keyboard ....on the sidebar you will see the word, WRITE. Click on it......Address the letter to yourself.......and where it says Subject, Write a category name...MUSIC, IMAGES, HTML....or whatever! At the top of page...type the name of this particular site...move over a space! Now hold down the CMD BUTTON, and press the V BUTTON...This will place the addy of the first site on the page! Now use the RECENT BUTTON...a screen will pop up, showing you several of your last locations...click on Favorite...this will take you back to the folder to get another addy!...cool! Repeat theses steps until you have all addys in this folder...it will take only a few minutes, once you catch on! Then send this mail to yourself...and then place it in SAVED MAIL...for future referance. Now you can delete all that was in the folder and be ready to Store 32 more items in it. By doing this you give yourself much more storage space...The Full Folder was using 5 full %....where as the new SAVED MAIL only takes up 1 tenth of a %.....that's a lot of space!
