What i want to try to do Here is help You Learn to Give the pictures in Your Scrapbook a URL...otherwise they are useless unless You place them on a Pagebuilder Website! What the heck is a URL?...Well it is simply an Internet Address to individual websites, images or sound files!...Everything on the Net has a URL The first thing You need to do is go to PageBuilder and choose CREATE at the Main index! After clicking on Create You will then be asked to pick a background from a list of Choices offered to You by PageBuilder..i like SPACE! Now You Will be asked to give Your new Page a name...in this case...i suggest ~IMAGES~ After this has been completed, move over to the Sidebar and choose PUBLISH! CongratulationsYou have a New web site! You should be on a page now that Is Giving You The URL of Your new Page!....It's important that You remember this URL...Because You will be adding it to each Image or Picture in Your ScrapBook Files. The URL will look something like this: http://community.webtv.net/homeaway/WebtvScrapBookURL |

Now for the next step....Go back to Your main index at PageBuilder and click on SCRAPBOOK! Click on a Picture That You wish to give the URL to!....When The Picture comes up in full view You should also see a narrow Text window below it! In the text window....You will see PageBuilders URL. It should look something like this: (example) importD2_gif or mailedD2_jpg (notice The RED DASHES) O-K..Now write This down just as You see it...The letters are Case Sensitive, so be sure to write it just as You see it! Very Good! Now...Go Back to PageBuilders Main Index! |

O-K...You've written down the Useless Addy that PageBulder provided....Now, When You return to PageBuilders Main Index, You will see a Listing for Your new site ~IMAGES~ to the right...Click on it....Now choose Change Page! I hope i'm not confusing You....This is one department WEBTV needs to work on!!!...for beginners it can be very discouraging! Next click on Add an Item! Then choose Picture....next choose from Scrapbook! O-K! Now when You've done this...it should take You back to the Building section....Do You see Two Text Boxes now??? Good!....as i made this page, i picked the cool Pic below of a Cats Face in the Night Sky! When i went to Scrapbook to see what the Useless Addy was...I saw this: importD4_jpg Now What i want You to do is....Type the Useless Addy of Your pic into the Small Text Box !....But with Two change!!!! First Type...scrapbookFiles...then a slash... / When You Type the Pics addy...Replace the Dash...with a Period (or dot) ...like this: scrapbookFiles/importD4.jpg Now don't forget... ~CASE SENSITIVE~...notice the capital F in scrapbookFiles/.. |

O-k..Now! Do You remember the Addy to Your new website????...If You don't...(don't worry if You can't, just save what You have so far by clicking on DONE at the bottom)...Then go back to Main index to find the addy! If You can Remember, Just add it to the Large Text box! Then add the Addy for the Pic right behind it like this: (be sure to add a Slash... / ....just to seperate the two! http://community.webtv.net/homeaway/WebtvScrapBookURL/scrapbookFiles/importD4.jpg Then choose Done at bottom and Then Publish....If all went well...You should be able to Click on The addy or URL of the picture when You re-enter the New Site! You can add quite a few Pictures to Your New ~IMAGES~ page, depending on their size! Once it is full or getting slow to load...Just create a new ~IMAGES2~ page, and start again! i Hope it works for You .....
