The Press Association:
Pedro Almodovar has revealed he would like to cast Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz in a film together. But the Spanish filmmaker said it would be tricky to pin the couple down as they are both so in-demand. Speaking about Javier - who he cast in his 1997 film Live Flesh - Pedro said: "He was in Live Flesh before all this explosion - (I would like to cast him again) if I find the right character." He continued: "Javier is a wonderful actor but now he's so in demand that I don't know if I can. They (Penelope and Javier) are becoming too important (to work with) me."Asked if he would like to cast them in a film together, Pedro said emphatically: "Yes!" The hot Spanish couple have already starred together, in Woody Allen's Vicky Cristina Barcelona and in Spanish flick Jamon Jamon.
