The boxing club has been re-established after losing their city furnished facility 3 years ago. We have now secured a donated practice facility at 306 Central Ave. West thanks to Bob Mc Intyre. State and national sanctioning of the club will be under USA Boxing.
The importance of starting up the club again is that it offers a great opportunity for a number of our cities youth to participate in a sanctioned statewide athletic activity and to learn the discipline required for that participation.
We want to provide a facility and a program in which our members can establish personal pride and to learn the responsibilty of being part of something more than just themselves.

Mission Statement

To provide an environment that promotes self discipline, pride and respect.

Goals and Objectives

The goal of the Electric City Boxing Club is to provide a program that helps keep our cities youth of the streets and away from drugs.
Our objective is to teach our kids self discipline, pride, and respect for themselves and others from our role-model coaching staff.

2004-2005 season

The upcoming season is about to start. I am not sure when exactly, we have knocked around a couple of dates the final one being Nov. 15, 2004. There is going to be an upcoming coaches meeting and we will finalize anything last minute. I will update this section when all the information becomes available. I have been emailing the coach from one of the Washington teams and he is very interested in coming to one of our events. I hope we will be able to make that happen. If you have anything you want added to these pages please email me at j-jones29@webtv.net or call me at 406-870-3376.
