A Webpage For WebTV Version 2.6 - 2.6.1 Browsers

<font color="red"> <limitext value="WARNING: WebTV JAVASCRIPT BUG – Please RELOAD (Cmd-R) Until This Warning Message Disappears!"> </font>

This webpage is a demo for an MSN-TV browser upgrade version detection script that detects upgrade versions 2.6 and 2.6.1. These upgrades killed the use of added HTML tags and custom body tags which were added without using an advanced editing method.

These upgrades do not allow the use extra HTML tags with added custom body tags. With these upgrades, you must use an advanced editing method to block-out the PageBuilder built-in body tags so you can add your own custom body tag! These upgrades will view any advanced editing method document.

If you have MSN-TV browser upgrade versions 2.6 or 2.6.1, you should get the alert shown in the scripts below warning that you cannot view the webpage it's used on. These scripts are for use on webpages that use added HTML tags and custom body tags, without using an advanced editing method to block-out the PB built-in body tag. These upgrade versions will not accept added html tags and custom body tags.

The browser upgrade detection script I used, is:

<script language="javascript"> if ((navigator.appCodeName == "bowser") && ((navigator.appMinorVersion > 7351) && (navigator.appMinorVersion < 16135))) window.alert("Sorry, you must have WebTV Upgrade Versions 2.5.5 or 2.7 to view this website. Please accept the 2.7 upgrade so your browser will have more advanced capabilities!"); </script>

If you also want to add browser redirection back to the previous webpage, use this script:

<script language="javascript"> if ((navigator.appCodeName == "bowser") && ((navigator.appMinorVersion > 7351) && (navigator.appMinorVersion < 16135))) window.alert("Sorry, you must have WebTV Upgrade Versions 2.5.5 or 2.7 to view this website. Please accept the 2.7 upgrade so your browser will have more advanced capabilities! You will be redirected back to your previous webpage in 5-seconds"); backTim=window.setTimeout("history.back()", 5000); </script>

But, instead of using these scripts, why not just learn to use a PageBuilder advanced editing method so all Webbers can view your webpages? Don't be afraid to try an advanced editing method – nothing you can do will cause any damage to the PageBuilder software, no matter what mistakes you make trying out some new idea! There are many great PageBuilder advanced editing tutorials for you to learn from!

PageBuilder experimentation and feedback to others with tutorials and NG posts has vastly expanded our knowledge base of PageBuilder webpage editing, far beyond what the designers of the program visualized in the beginning! I personally believe many of our PageBuilder webpages are among the most attractive on the internet, especially from our very creative lady PageBuilders!

If you think of something you would like to do to your webpage, do your homework! Visit the PageBuilder NG's and don't be afraid to ask any question about any problems you may have, or special guidance for any particular subject! As you learn, you should always try to help others anyway you can!

Thanks for visiting my webpage, folks! Have a happy day! My best wishes to all Pagebuilders!
