MARRIAGE CONTRACT BETWEEN CLAUDE DELAUNAY AND DENYSE LECLEREC

Before Roman request, Notery were present in Their person, Claude Delaunay settler, resident of the Isle of Orleans, son of Simon Delaunay and the late Cellier, his father and mother of the Parish of St. Jean of Rouvre diocese of Amiens of the one part.
And Denyse LeClerc, daughter of the late Jean LeClerc, and Jeanne Negromond, her father and mother lived in the Parish of Notre Dome, Gometz, Diocese of Paris.
Willingly and together with the accord and consent of their relatives and friends here assembled namely Lady Marie Barbe of Boulonge, widow of the late Lord Louie of Alleboust, [died June 7, 1685] formerly Knight Council and Lieutenent General and Governor of the Crown the overall Stewardship of this land of New France:
And Lady Anneh Casner, widow of the Lord Master Jean Francois Bourdon, formerly of St. Jean and St. Francois, adviser to the King and former Lieutienent Governor of the supreme council of the said New France, have made the accounts and promises of marriage, which will follow:
