| The pyramids are really in a suburb of Cairo. Built over 4,500 yrs. ago. Khufu is the largest, Khafre & Menkaure are the other two. They all were looted centuries ago.What a fantastic thing it was to stand here and see them!!! History came alive for me. |

| This is on the outskirts of the Valley of the Kings. It's the funerary monument dedicated to Queen Hatshepsut & her father.A sheer cliff surrounds it. |
EDFU, TEMPLE OF HORAS |

| It's the best preserved temple in Egypt, built by Ptolemy111 in 327B.C. On the outside are figures of Horas & Hathor. Fascinating and the inside was spectacular. |

| We took a boat trip on the Mekong River from the Golden Triange in Thailand and saw the countries of Laos & Myanmar(Burma). It was interesting scenery & got lots of odd information. Saw a village in Laos,called the 2 Bit village as Thais would row there for cheap liquor. |
