I KNOW how hard it is to get going when you are going through depression. Here are some things that I do that help ME and it might just help YOU!

†Prayer...pray to put desire back into your heart.

**Listen to some upbeat music. Stay AWAY from the melancholy, dreary, "my baby done me wrong" songs

**Take a walk...exercise helps produce those good endorphins

**AVOID the Darkness, soak up some sunshine or hang out in a well-lit room.

**LAUGH (or at least smile) ...another good endorphin releaser!!!

**Talk to a good friend...if you don't have one, make one

**AVOID negative people. Take someone NICE out to lunch. In fact, try to surround yourself with positive, upbeat outgoing people.

**Treat yourself to a new outfit or hairstyle. A makeover will do wonders.


**Wear BRIGHT colors

**Set some GOALS for yourself, and give yourself reasonable time to attain those goals.

**Help someone, it always makes you feel good to do something nice for someone else. Simple things like giving someone a ride to the grocery store or even a RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS may make a difference in someone's life

**TURN OFF THAT TV!!!! Nothing but toxic waste to your system.

**Get a pet (especially if you live alone). Pets are so much company and ALWAYS love you no
matter what!!

**Get a WebTv !!!!
