I am making this page for my mom and cousins and friends and the new webtv friends and the others out there that don't know how do these things so that they can have a place that they can to and learn about it all. Now I do know that there are other really good sites out there that shows you how to cut, copy and paste, but I just wanted to do one myself. So this page is dedicated to all of you out that I just mentioned here. Also I would like to dedicate this page to m only brother who died on March 31,1999 in a scuba diving incident in Cozmel, Mexico while on a spring break curise with his wife, daughter and yougest son and friends from their schools where they worked at. My brother was a principal of a grade school and he was principal of the year for the state of Arkansas back in the 1980s, but right now I don't remember the exact year. How to find text on a page and highlight it First these instructions are for webtv users only. For computer users use the instructions on how to find text on a page for you whatever borwser that you are using. Ok ready here we go. First to find a word or words on a page like in your email or a web page, press the find key on your keyboard and type in what you want to find on the page and then click find on page. Now if what you have found on the page is from like a email or maybe a web page that you would like to copy and paste, First you need to highlight what you want to copy, So just press the shift+down arrow key together and scroll down the page until all the text is highlighted that you want to copy. To pratice what you just learned, you can do it right here' Also you can press cmd-f together to get the find box and just type like"How to find" and then you can press the shift+down-left-right-up arrow key(s) to highlight the text that you want. Ok that's you first lesson on how to find text on a page and highlight it. Next section will tell you how to cut or copy and paste the text that you found on your page and then highlighted. Also you can press the CMD-A keys together to hightlight all the text on a page. And also once you highlight the text that you want in a text area where you can type, if you want to delete the text for good then just press the delete key on your keyboard. You can also just put you cursor in a text area where you can type, where you have typed some text and move your cursor to like the end of a line or the text and press the shift-right-left-down-up arrow keys to highlight the text that you want or just put your cursor at either the beginning or the end of your text and press shift-up-down arrow keys to highlight text. Also you can just put your cursor at the end of a word and press the CMD-DELETE keys together to delete what you want to or if you want to delete whole lines of text at a time that you have highlighted, you can just press the DELETE key by itself to delete the text. Hope this helps out somebody out there. I hope you find or have found this page to be really useful to you.

How to cut,copy and paste First you can only cut text from places/areas where you can type, like where you can write a new email or in text boxes on web pages. You cannot cut text from a printed page, like you get in from somebody in email or from a web page. Now that being said. Ok ready. Here's how to cut,copy and paste that text that you had just highlighted from the first lesson before. To Copy - press the CMD-C keys together to copy the text that you highlighted and then goto like where you can write a new email or a text box on web page or the editor that you may use to edit your web page(s) and put you cursor in the either the new email page or the text box where you can type and press and hold down the CMD key and tap the V key just once to paste in what you had copied, but DO NOT hold down that V key because you will paste in what you copied more then once and you don't want that. You just only want it to appeart there once of course. To cut text from a place that you can type, press the CMD-X keys together and release and you will see the text disappear from the text area on the screen, But don't worry you DID NOT delete any text, becuase if you reload, press the CMD-R together to reload the page and you'll see that the text will still be right there. So instead of just forwarding things on that you get in email, PLEASE use the copy and paste that you have just learned and send it out as new email after you address first of course. See that way you won't have all those long forwards and address list(s) from anybody else that you may have got the email from. And you would not have to scroll down a long forward just to get to what the email is about. See I know that are alot of people out there that don't want forwards and they probably just discard them and not even bother with opening them. So if you really want to make sure that the ones that you send things to will open your emails and see them, then PLEASE use copy and paste and you'll ser it's alot better and you'll be glad that you took the time to do it and the ones that you send things ot will more than likely thank you for it. Hope this helps out somebody out there.

Notice to computer users that visit this page If you are using a computer to cut, copy and paste. Then instead if using the CMD key with the C V or X or whatever other keys that I have said to that you use the CMD key with. On a computer you need to use the CTRL key. The CTRL key is in the lower left and right hand side of the very bottom keys. You know just look at the space bar and look at either the far left or right hand side and you'll see them there. Right beside the space bar on either side is the ALT keys and of course if you have a windows keyboard, then you have those windows specific keys
