FALL MEETING
Our Fall meeting will be held on October 1, 2005 in the Rochester area. Our Board Planning Meeting for that event will be in August and is usually held in Batavia. Members are encouraged to join our planning sessions, but please contact President Marcia Trauernicht at 585-6-0236 or mstwml@rit.edu for the date and location. |
Chapter meetings are held twice a year in May and October alternating locations among the members' churches or synagogues. Programs at these meetings consist of workshops on a variety of topics, presentations by authors, book reviews, sharing of ideas, vendor displays and discounts on new and recommended items. Guests are always welcome at these meetings for learning, fellowship, and inspiration. Call one of the local contacts for information. |
CSLA serves librarians and library workers, many of whom are nonprofessional volunteers, through its publications, workshops, and national conferences. |
Individual membership is open to any interested person. Dues are $30 per year, of which $25 goes to National and includes a subscripton to the official bimonthly publication, along with member discounts on the other publications. Church/Synagogue, Affiliate, and Institutional Memberships are also available. Call the National office for details. |
