SUICIDE # 1

Aaron had some disease like Leprosy, and went to St. Louis, Missouri for treatment.
He wrote home that the doctor had informed him that it was incurable, and that he would rather be dead than go on as he was.
Later he shot himself in a hotel room in St. Louis.
He wrote with a lead pencil on the hotel room floor___ why he was commiting the deed.
I [Oscar Shane Bryan] heard my father and my grandfather often talk about the matter.
I [Oscar Shane Bryan] have some of Aaron Shane's work in my house now. It was given to me by my father Aaron Bryan who was named after Aaron Shane.
