SUICIDE # 1 Aaron had some disease like Leprosy, and went to St. Louis, Missouri for treatment. He wrote home that the doctor had informed him that it was incurable, and that he would rather be dead than go on as he was. Later he shot himself in a hotel room in St. Louis. He wrote with a lead pencil on the hotel room floor___ why he was commiting the deed. I [Oscar Shane Bryan] heard my father and my grandfather often talk about the matter.
