Moonbeam is one of 3 autistic ringneck doves who live in my house in a cage just big enough to house them and their food and water. They don't move about much, and the food and water have to be within reach or they forget to eat. They are generally confused by perches and don't ever say much. God bless the quiet ones!
Poooooooor Maggie Mae got goosie pneumonia in mid November and after a running tackle by mean Mommy, was brought inside to recuperate. For three days, she gurgled with every breath. I thought she was a gonner, but she had an amzing constitution and will to live! After ten days under a heat lamp, lots of antibiotics, and heaps of TLC and spinach, she rejoined her family on Thanksgiving Day and has been fine ever since.
~~~~~~~~This sweet puppydog is the light of my life and my constant companion. There has never existed a more precious, charming, intelligent, sensitive spirit. I have been blessed to know him since he was 6 days old. He wil be 2 years old on January 25th. He is second in command to Princess White Toes, his mentor and my ever faithful protectorrrr.
