Camille's litter by CH Tullamores Toblerone arrived March 19, 2009.

The girls are now in their new homes, but feel free to contact me for referrals to other ethical breeders.

Because I have limited facilities, I breed infrequently -- only one litter every year or two (Six years of rehoming unwanted Labs with Lab Rescue of North Carolina has filled me with both terror and respect for the awesome responsibility of bringing companion animals into this world!)

I have been involved with Labradors for over 25 years and have been a Board Member of the Labrador Retriever Club of the Piedmont since 1998, currently serving as President. I am also an active member of the Piedmont Kennel Club in Charlotte, NC, serving as 1st Vice President for 2007 and 2008, and have assisted in the Public Education efforts of both clubs. Although my dogs compete in various dog sports, 99.9% of their lives are spent as my family pets, so I am very particular about the way puppies are raised and the socialization they receive. Temperament and soundness are of paramount importance. I only raise a litter when I believe the breeding will produce puppies who are an asset to the breed, and always with the the intention of keeping a puppy from the litter... thus I am always "enjoying" the same stages of puppyhood as other puppy families and am usually ready to lend a sympathetic ear!

If you are considering a puppy, I urge you to read through the educational materials gathered on the Labrador Retriever Club of the Piedmont's Puppy Page.  Feel free to contact me if you have questions or would like a referral to a responsible breeder. Please keep in mind that most breeders have waiting lists, so it is always wise to plan ahead!

Breeders (and of course Lab Rescue) will sometimes have older puppies and adult dogs available as well. Raising a Labrador puppy can be a challenge! Be honest with yourself, and take a look at my Labrador Warning Page  -- do you truly have the time and energy? If you decide a puppy may not be right at this time, it's worth exploring other options.
