Time for a change in direction

I guess it has something to do
with age, but I can't remember why I enlisted. But
started with both Bill and Marvin and another friend going to join. Bill was rejected for medical reasons and an argument caused Marvin to go on with the process.
It was educating, exciting, a little travel extended the mind and opened new doors.
Got to learn Morse Code ...Some Russian Code.. and became a Radio Operator... Got some school in Texas and Mississippi. And was further educated at MIT.. But thats another long story.

In the meantime. Bill has gotten the Motorcycle bug..(remember the "Wild One" ??) That was Bill,
He can tell it better then I. (he won't... ) His first was a Harley..Big and Butch!
Then he got into racing. And really was pretty good.
Won a ton of trophys and a ton of broken and bruised bones..

So now, we were apart and going our seperate ways. We still spent time together. Like Marvin's leave from the AirForce to travel by Harley from Michigan to the West. But we both had other affairs that were pretty serious. But we always dumped them,when we could get together.

Then came Billie Mae. But that will be in the next chapter..
