1978 COUGAR XR-7. RARE: [Medium Jade Green, Code 7W] a one year only color [1978] and only on the XR-7's, not the base model Cougars. Out of 166,508 XR-7's built in 78, only 4,447 were this color, that's just over 2.5% [Paint info from my Marti's Report, click link below to see the Report] The car is about 99% rust free and still has 75% of it's original paint, and it does have small dents and dings. It's a turn key driver quality car, not a show car. [ps] the wheels and tires in this pic are no longer on the car, see pics below.

I'm the Third Owner. It was bought new in Grand Rapids Michigan and it only had 40,000 miles when I bought it, but now has 90,000
The front bumper has some pealing chrome, and the rest of the chrome has some small pit marks.
Nice green cloth interior with the split bench seat and arm rests.
Tach and gauge package [only 25% of Cougars came with this option], cruise, tilt, am/fm 8-track, interior light package, rear window defroster. Everything on the car works, even the clock.
351W 2V, with the big C4/C5 trans and a 9" rear with 2:47 gears. Motors runs good and has great oil pressure. It does have a small rear main leak.
The car has a set of the Factory Finned Aluminum wheels and white wall tires. The center caps are missing.
