Another dangerous beast conquered by the great ape man. Tarzan actually had a pet lion in the books who'd saved Tarzan from vicious men AND OTHER ANIMALS a number of times.

As these old book covers show, Tarzan fought with more than just lions. He had battles with men, huge snakes, crocodiles, apes, etc and even at least one DINOSAUR!

A homemade ' poster ' xerox made from a DVD set box with some 35 and 40 year old Whitman books. That Tarzan is the 1936 Olympic Games American decathalon champion GlennMorris in a test shot with Crabbe like briefs not used in the movie.
