My trains mostly sat in boxes until...

It all started in the Livingroom / Kitchenette

If you can see this... that's a true-to-scale perspective of the livingroom plus kitchenette, total 19ft x 19.5ft, custom fit.

It might look big, but it is only a few inches from the wall all the way around, and not attached (no holes in any walls), and comes apart in sections.

I purposely made it all removabled for "someday" if I move.

I wanted something to look at every day and a layout which didn't take up much space, and I wanted to simulate long distances.

This on-line website tour starts at Yard A plus the SW Corner, then goes counter clockwise.

Then it went into the Bedroom...

Same scale as the livingroom sketch.

Bedroom is 11.5ft x 12.5ft.

I strategically located shelves and bookcases for the main supports.

The Upper Route track and electrical completed, July 2004.

...some months before Aug 2007, I had shot some photos of the completed bedroom tracks, but I still need to locate these--- yet I hope to heaven that I didn't toss them, or loose them in the move...

Total apartment size 19 feet x 35 feet.

Mine is N-SCALE.
Would work for HO and O.
As you get larger scale, train-weight and walking space become factors.

As of mid 2004, I need / want to move, so whole website could change (current time is Dec 2006, I haven't moved yet)... this neighborhood is becoming a "hood zone".

Also there is a SPECIAL REPORT near the end of the website explains a bit of current circumstances since April 15, 2005, --- SOOO, I'm dreaming up other solutions in case I don't move, which is the case.

April 16, 2007, I'm sleeping on my couch and a stray bullet, high-caliber, (from a gang-shootout in the park outside my west window) goes through the wall and then my right lower leg... rhe incident was in all the local news at the time, TV news too...

August 31, 2007, I'm to be evicted from my apartment... this website will stay up but the trains will be in storage, I'll re-do the whole layout in the newer place I get to, where ever that is... and then an updated website sometime after that.

GREAT NEWS !!! (April 04, 2008)
