January 29, 2001

Strange aircraft videotaped northeast of Bovina, on the night of January 29, 2001. No sound was heard as it moved slowly west, low in the sky. The sky was dark in the northeast as the sun had just gone down in the west. One eyewitness claims she saw sparklers falling from the backside of the object, shortly after the object turned its' lights off. Other witnesses in another location also reported seeing the object turn its lights off briefly. However, they were too far away to see anything fall from the object.

Is this what people are seeing along the West Texas/New Mexico border?

This is zoomed out for a perspective. Also note the sky lighten up to the left, which is west.

This photo shows how low and bright the aircraft was. It was lost from view behind the trees north of town. If anyone can help identify this strange aircraft, please let us know!

It was cold and dark as I scanned the skies over skywatch post one, hoping for that shoot of a lifetime to fly by. When suddenly a bright light appeared low in the sky over the Fast Stop gas station, on highway 60.
At first, I thought it was a planet, but I knew better and began filming.
For a while I cursed at it, to move or to do something before my batteries went dead. My wait was rewarded as the mysterious globe of light began drifting slowly south closer to my position! See below...

Here's a close-up, as it moved south, over the highway.
I tried to keep something in the background at all times, but it's hard to not take a close-up.

I lost my camera view as the object circled around the gain elevators.

This object then circled once around the gain elevators and returned to its original position over the gas station. It now had three lights, forming a triangle.

[Triangle UFO video clip]

Here's another close-up. There was an eerie silence in the air, as this thing hung there in the night sky. The lights were made up of red, orange & white colors, sometimes yellow with a bright flash of white now and than, (which seemed to mess with the focus of my camera.) And all the while it had a blue hue on the bottom. It was a sight to see!

Many a night went by without seeing anything, but precedence is the key. I would say the object's size was that of a large bus. However, its shape appeared as that of a triangle of lights. It made absolutely no sound as it passed by, going south down Third street, right over town and out of view. Now I would just like to say, if this is ours, you know, U S Air Force? Then we have a craft that can hover without making a sound, fly very slowly one moment, and streak out of sight the next. Why do I feel like i'm being setup by the Air Force?

This high altitude object was first observed passing directly over town. It appeared to be floating, which leads me to believe this may be high flying trash? However, the video looks good. Who knows, I saw this object in the sky myself and it was bright and mysterious.

Now directly overhead, and slowy moving off to the north. No sound is heard on the video. This is another? Please take note, a lot of people saw this, so i'll report it here. Keep looking up folks.

Note: Compare these images with video taken in Nevada, in 2005.
Or that of a video from Califorina, shot in 2006.

September 4, 1999

Many people saw this strange object pass over Bovina. When first seen, it appeared as a large dark balloon.
However, as we watched, it soon became, or was somewhat flat & black, with intermittent bursts of bright light.

After pulling out of a tight roll the object leveled off and began swiftly moving away to the northeast. Afterwards, when I looked at the video I had just taken. It gave me a shutter to think how surreal the event was. Everyone was so excited we had a UFO party (skywatch) all night.

According to the National UFO Reporting Center September produced some interesting black oval-shaped ufo sightings.
Starting with Missouri, on the 1st, Maryland, on the 11th, New Jersey, on the 12th, Wisconsin, on the 13th,
Oregon, on the 14th, two in California, on the 19th, 19th, and Mississippi, on the 20th.

Note: This list by no means represents all the black oval-shaped ufo sighting in the U. S., for September of '99. They're only the reports I gleaned from NUFORC's database.

One last flash of light as the object rapidly moved off to the northeast, and out of view. The sighting lasted about 90 seconds.
Several minutes later, I videotaped a small dark helicopter coming out of the northeast, flying low to the ground.

April 17, 1999

This large dull gray cigar-shaped object wasn't moving when it was first seen. Seemed to just stand still in the wind. I felt It began to move when it noticed it was being watched.

As the object moved slowly west. Notice the change in background color, that's due to the timestamp turning off. It was set on auto.

I lost sight of the object as it moved away, going lower on the horizon and behind some trees.
I would say the object's size was huge, like that of a flat storage barn!

Interesting photograph taken in 2006

June 24, 1999

When first seen the object appeared cigar-shaped and moving to the west. It than, appeared to stop, and become very bright. Look below.

At this point, I turned on the timestamp and waited for something to happen.

Timestamp now turned on. Minutes later, the light winked out. Possibly a jet, but I didn't see or hear it pass over.
