MEMORIES

This is my shoe box full of memories. An index card just fits. TIP: Type basic items on the cards (My husband, Bill had an ink stamp made for me.); and then just fill in the blanks and write a short daily comment Easy!

PERSONAL HISTORY

My father was a traveling salesman, and my great grandmother's family name was said to be a gypsy's name. My longest trip in the US was on my honeymoon to California. My first big chance to go "over seas" was in 1962. It was a 3 week tour of the Continent for less than $600--every thing included! Since then I've traveled to all the 7 Continents. Sailed most of the 7 Seas.My favorite areas in the world are Africa, the Orient, and Asia. A memorable cruise was one to Pitcairn, Easter, and the Galapagos Islands, but I'll take Manhattan too!

In all that time my luggage only arrived late TWICE!

For the last few years, my husband,Bill and I have been cruising most of the time--you only unpack once.
Our second favorite type of tour is a safari.

What you will find on these pages are bits and pieces of information I've picked up over the years.

Oil portrait by a friend.

Why am I smiling? I know you pay the rack rate for hotels/motels only ONCE. All sorts of discounts and affiliations ie AARP-AAA. What about cruises and tours? They come in different prices too. Get some friends and go as a GROUP.
