Between George Mumaw and Artimissa his wife of County of Page (to) George W. Huston of County aforesaid second part and I. J. Lineberger of Page Couuty third part ... Where as said George Mumaw and wife is justly indebted unto Isaac & John Lionberger in the sum of Forty three dollars and sixty five cents ... parties have chosen and appointed George W. Huston their Trustee ... Now this Indenture for and in consideration of one dollar paid by said George W. Huston .. the said George Mumaw and his wife do grant bargain and sell unto said George W. Hustion .. a certain house and lott of land lying in Page County adjoining the place knwn as Hamburg which said house and lot was bought of Wm. S. Marye by said George Mumaw ... also three beds, Beadsteads, and furniture, oe Bureau, one desk, one cupboard, 4 chairs, one stove and pipe, 1 sorrel mare, 2 cows, six hogs, 2 chets, 1 table, 1 full set of shoemakers tools including bench and 80 or 90 lasts, 1 last knife, 3 small wooden tubs, 2 large wash tubs, 3 piggins, 2 iron griddles, 1 large wash kettle, pot, 1 skillet, 2 buckets, 1 oven, 2 creampots, 3 jugs, knives & forks, dishes and plates. In line of John Reedy's etc. containing 49 1/2 A. together with all improvements.

THIS DEED, made the 22nd day of October 1855. Between Hezekiah Slusher, and Mary A. his wife of the County of Clarke and State of Virginia and Mary Slusher the widow of Asahel Slusher dec'd Nancy Slusher Mason Job and Theresa his wife, Jeremiah M. Slusher and Mary his wife, Zackariah (sic) Slusher and Sarah his wife, John A. B. Slusher and Sarah his wife and Joseph T. Slusher of the County of Hancock and State of Illinois of the one part and David J. Strickler of the other part. Witnesseth that in consideration of one hundred and fourty five dollars to them in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged the said Hezekiah Slusher and Mary A. his wife, Mary Slusher, Nancy Slusher, Mason Job and theresa his wife, Jeremiah M. Slusher and Mary his wife Zachariah Slusher and Sarah his wife John A. B. Slusher and Melvina his wife and Joseph T. Slusher do grant the David J. Strickler all their interest both at law and in equity in and to two certain pieces or lots of land lying and being in the said County of Page and State of Virginia the first of which is that portion of the real estate of which Asahil (sic) Slusher dec'd died seized which was assigned by commissioner to William T. Slusher now deceased and designated in the report of said Cmissioner as Lot No. 3 and is bounded as follows Viz: //lengthy boundries here// containing Sixty three acres more or less. The other is that portion of said land assigned by said Comissioner as Lot No. 4 and is bounded as follows Viz: //lengthy boundries here// containing fifteen acres more or less.

And the said Hezekiah Slusher and Mary his wife, Nancy Slusher, Jerimiah M. Slusher and Mary his wife Zachariah Slusher and Sarah his wife John A. B. Slusher and Melvina his wife and Joseph T. Slusher, covenant that they have good right to sell said lots or parcels of land which accrued to them as the heirs at law of the said Wm. T. Slusher and George A. Slusher deceased as aforesaid, and that they will warrant generally the title to the same. Witness the following sigatures and seals.
