To the Probate Court of said County:
Your petitioner respectfully represents that Susan C. Slusher late a resident of the City of Washington in said County, died on or about the 2nd day of April, 1934, leaving an instrument in writing, herewith produced, purporting to be her Last Will and TESTAMENT.
That the said Susan C. Slusher died leaving no widower, the following named persons her only next of kin, to-wit:

Personally appreared in open Court Wesley W. DeWees who being duly sworn to testify the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, in relation to the execution of the Will of Susan C. Slusher, deceased, deposes and says;

That I was present at the execution of the instrument of writing now before me bearing date the 7 day of July, 1914, purporting to be the Will of Susan C. Slusher deceased, that I subscribed my name thereto as witness at the request of said Testatrix in her presence, that I saw said Susan C. Slusher suscrie her name, acknowledge her signature, at the end of said instrument and that said Susan C. Slusher at the time of the executing the same was of full age, of sound mine and memory, and not under restraint.

Murry who being first duly sworn to testiffy the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, in the matter of the Will of Susan C. Slusher deceased, depose and say; that A. C. Patton whose name appears as one of the subscribing witnesses to the Last Will and Testament of Susan C. Slusher deceased, hereunto annexed, has, since the date of said Will, 7 July, 1914, deceased, that we are each of us well aquainted with the handwrtting and signature of said deceased witness, and said A. C. Patton purporting to be his, as one of the subscribing witness, and that said signature of said A. C. Patton purporting to be his, as one of the subscribing witnesses to said Will is the true and genuine signatre of the said deceased witness A. C.Patton.

Last Will and Testament

In the name of the benvolent Father of All:

I Susan C. Slusher, being of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament.

Item 1. I desire that all my just debts and funer (sic) expenses be first paid.

Item 2. I hereby give and bequeath to my grand daughter, Norma Dodds my gold watch.

Item 3. I herey give and equeath to my, grand daughter, Goldie Glass, my best crazy-quilt, and to Mabel Slusher and Otis Slusher and Asa Slusher the sum of five dollars each.

Item 4. I desire that all my household good and effects be equally divided among my daughters, Rose Carson, Mellie Dodds, Dessie Glass, and request that no sale be made of said personal property.

Item 5. I hereby direct that all the real property I may die seized of be sold by the exwxutors hereinefter named either at private or public sale as be may determined they xan axquire the most money for, and they are authorized to make, execute and deliver deeds for the same to the purchaser or purchasers thereof, and they are further directed, and it is my will, that the said executor devide the money so obtained from said sale or sales, equally among my for children, viz: George W. Slusher, Rose Carson, Mellie Dodds and Dessie Glass. The above iten 5 is subject to a condition that which ever of my said children shall keep me through the sollowing(?) Winters and the ones that kept me since 1911 shall be paid the sum of $25.00 for such keep and said amount deducted from the sale of my real estate.

I hereby nominate George W. Slusher and Elba Carson executors of tis my last will, and direct that no appraisement be made of my estate and the omission of the same be done in persuance of the estate.

I hereby revoke all former wils by me made.

In testimoney whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 7th day of July, 1914.

ORDERS On HEARING, ADMISSION TO PROBATE AND RECORD.

Heretofore to-wit: On the 10th day of April an instrument of writing, purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Susan C. Slusher, deceased, was produced in open Court and presented for probate, and was then filed. And it now being shown to the satisfaction of the Court, that due notice of the filing of said Will and of the application to admit the same to Probate and Record in this Court has been given to the next kin of the Teasatrix resident of the State of Ohio; puruant to a former oeder of this Court. Thereupon on this day came Wesley DeWees one ofthe subscribing witnesses to said Will who beig duly sworn, testified as to the execution and attstation of said Will which testiony was reduced to writing by said witnesses to Will, to-wit; A. C. Patton has died since the execution of said Will, his signature thereto was under the provisions of the law, duly proved by the testimony of E. L. Bush and Ottie Murry and whose testimony was reduced to writing signed by them, duly sworn to andthe same filed herewith. Whereupon the Cort finds the aforsaid instrument of writing is the last Will and Testiment of said Susan C. Slusher, deceased, that the same was duly executed and attested; and that Testatrix at the time of making and signing the same was of full age, of sound mind and memory and not under restraint.

It is therefore by the Court ordere that the Will be addmitted to Probate, and that the same, together with the testimony of the wirness above named,be entered of record in this Court.
