Asahel SLUSHER

Descendants of Asahel SLUSHER

Note: Asahel's name is shown by some as "Asabel" and is thought to be just a sight garble ("b" for "h"). I have be told by German language historians that the "h" is silent and the pronunciation was "A-sail" which is how his name is spelled in the 1818 Shenandoah Co., VA, records of his marriage to Mary MAUCK..

Note: The obituaries of several of the individuals contained herein are located on the SLUSHER webpages at genforum.genealogy.com
