Photos, Scanner Tips
PHOTOS
Notice that a print is made larger by scanning and printing.
Send your photo to scrapbook, publish and then process at Web FX to reduce the size of the photo.
Its all in the lines of resolution. Small photos made bigger are blurry. Larger photos made smaller are clearer. It's like sitting to close to a large TV.
TIP
I have made a lot of pretty stuff to use in my email and webpages this way:
If I thought I wanted something, I cut it out, put white paper behind it, and scanned it.
I crop it, upload it to my directory, change the format to gif at Image Magick, go to gifworks and transparentize it.
Then, I will use it as a graphic.
RESIZING JPEGS
If pictures are sent to you as jpegs, you can take them to either of the following sites and resize them.
