Webfx (scrapbook option)

Can I (on webtv) send images to someone
with a webtv, so that it will give them the 'Save to Scrapbook' option?

Yes, you can.

You must know the URL of the image you want to send as an attachment. Assuming that the image is in your scrapbook, the URL might look something like this....

http://community.webtv.net/username/YourPage/scrapbookFiles/importD1.gif

Once you have the exact URL of the image to be sent, take that URL to WebFX at:

http://nbswebfx.com/

In the large top, right-hand box you will see a place to put the URL. It begins with http://
Erase the http:// and put the image URL into that box.

Next, look in the bottom, right-hand corner of the large box, and click onto "Apply Effect." (It's small, and written in italics.)

You will get a screen with the image, and at the bottom of that screen you'll see a link that says

"Email this image to someone as an attachment." Click onto that phrase.

Next, you'll get a screen where you can fill in the email address of the person who is to receive the attachment.

Fill in your name (or nickname), your email addy, the recipient's email addy, and a short message (if you want to.)

Then, click on Send...!

The recipient will receive an email in a few seconds. It will be FROM.....

The image will be fully displayed at the bottom of that email, and the Scrapbook option will appear on the sidebar.

Once you have an address for the photo, take it here.

Put the address in the box, press Apply effects, from here address photo to the address you want it to go. When they get the photo, it should bring up their scrapbook on the side bar.
