so the owners of a sign do not benefit... phone numbers, addresses and the like are removed or painted over... with a statement...NOT HERE...(note the bandit sign is placed on a traffic pole, paid for by citizens.)

This sign placed on a utility pole is considered TRESPASSING by the telephone and electrical companies....this *bandit* sign "lose 40 pounds" is one of the most common *bandit* signs.... other similar signs "burn fat", "car wash", "fast cash", "insurance", "tree trimming", "clear credit legally" are also common along the right of ways. Interresting thought Clear Credit Legally....hmmm with a ILLEGALLY placed sign.

one day defacing illegal "bandit signs" will not be needed.... but to educate the public and those putting up the signs... that displaying signs illegally will not be tolerated... this activity will continue by community activists....
TOTEM POLE BLIGHT
on a major roadway... in Northwest Houston area, citizens must see this everyday.
