First produced and named by James Wilson in 2002 . From two of his normal but great looking Northern BTS. James used the name Caramel to describe the coloring of his new babies, because the only other reptiles that he was able to compair them to was the Caramel Ball Python for color!
I bought 4 from him that summer, they turned out to be a 1.3 group . I got one pair to breed this year and they had 12 babies that look alot different than their parents! Much lighter in coloring than the JW Caramels. Because it was the first time breeding a Caramel to a Caramel.
When they were born they looked like normal Northerns with much less black on them. After each shead they kept on changing, getting lighter and lighter and loosing what little black they had on their bodies as they grow !
I am really happy with the way they turned out!!
