We're getting ready for the 2002 racing season! Jeremy's car is at Auto-Tech getting a new paint-job, the motor is at Grosso's Performance getting re-built, and Joe has a new "blockzilla" under construction to use as our primary motor for next year... Jeremy plans to defend his 2001 title at Beaver Springs, and make another quest for the title at Numidia Raceway. Plans are also underway for the Columbia Mall "race car" show January 17-20, 2002. Jeremy will have his car on display, along with team-mate Jared Hafer's. The banquet for both Numidia and Beaver are Saturday January 26, 2002... We are sad we won't be able to see Eddie Bidler receive his track championship plaque. With Jeremy winning the 2001 Beaver title, and the IHRA "race of champions", we almost have to go the banquet there... Have a great holiday season, and we'll see ya next season.... This page will be archived, and a new "2002 updates" page will be posted soon.

IHRA SUMMIT BRACKET WORLD FINALS
NORWALK RACEWAY PARK
NORWALK, OHIO

WHAT A WEEKEND!!!!
(for official results click here)
To spite the cold, the rain, the wind, and Trish not being able to go with us, Jeremy and his car were ready! Representing Beaver Springs Dragway, where Jeremy is the 2001 Track Champion, he was entered in the Race Of Champions!!!! He was on the tree, and the car ran the number all day!! The result was Jeremy winning the Junior Dragster Race Of Champions!!!! Beaver Bob, was glowing because Jason Weaver also representing Beaver Springs, won his Race of Champions event in the Modified class. Bob said to us during the photo session afterwords, he was told by the officials in the tower, Jeremy had the best reaction time "every round" going into the finals!!!!!!!!!! His reaction time in the finals was a different story. I can not express how happy I am for Jeremy. This was his third Race Of Champions race, and his first win!! Jeremy's car was also nominated for best appearing car, but didn't win.
I would like to thank all of our sponsors for making the trip to Norwalk possible... Jeremy's next race, will be his last of the season at Englishtown's Halloween Bash, October 28th.
Hope to see ya there!!

When your hot, your hot, and Jeremy right now is on fire!!! Today at The Beaver, he picked up his 7th IHRA win of the season, making a total of 10 wins so far this season! The victory came over Keystone Raceway's Tess Lowe. Tess red lighted with a .457. With Jeremy being on a roll the way he has been, I'm taking him to the IHRA Divisional Championship next weekend (Friday Saturday & Sunday) at Norwalk Raceway in Norwalk, Ohio. Jeremy will be the Beaver Springs represenative in the "Race Of Champions"! He will also be second altrnate for the total "Team Beaver"!!!!! A high honor for a junior dragster to even be on the team!
Hope to see ya at Norwalk next week!

Today was the last race of the season at Numidia Raceway. Jeremy wanted to do something special in tribute to the 9-11-01 attack on America. We repainted our 1997 Bos car into an American flag. Not to hard of a task, because it was red and white to begin with. Just had to add the blue field and the stars! Jeremy was determied to make a statement with his racecar, and he did just that! After being #1 in qualifications with a .509 he put his trust in the car to do the rest. Both of them hit the numbers all day. In the finals, Jeremy turned on the win light with a dead-on 8.83 pass over Steve Paliswiat, who red lighted his chance way with a .469. Jeremy will take a few weeks off from the junior dragster, and will be taking his drivers test next weekend at Beaver Springs for the TCR class.... His mother and I are looking forward to seeing what he can do in a "full size" car! Our next race with the junior will be the Halloween Bash at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ. The 4th Annual 1/8 Mile Jr. Dragster Halloween Bash will be on the 1/8 Mile Track SUNDAY October 28th. Gates Open 9:00 am. Jeremy likes the track, and has his work cut out for him, as he has a football game Friday night, and 2 band competitions on Saturday.
Hope to see ya there.

As many of my friends know, I drive tractor trailer into New York City. I pass only a stones throw away from the World Trade Center buldings. I was in the New York City early Monday morning. This morning I delivered to Elizabeth, Nj., directely across the bay from Manhatten. Looking at the smoke from what was the World Trade buildings gives emotions that can not be put into words......

This flag will stand forever!!!!!

Today was the last points race of the season at Numidia. Jeremy finished 2nd overall to 2001 Numidia Track Champion Eddie Beidler. Jared Hafer finished 3rd. Numidia's final points, click here.
With Jeremy winning the 2001 Beaver Springs Track Champonship, it was a GREAT year!!!! I don't think Jeremy will be racing any more this season, with his band schedule what it is.... The Halloween bash at Englishtown is out of the question, as Jeremy has a game Friday night, and 2 band competitions on Saturday....
I'd like to take the time to thank "all of our sponsors" for the help they gave us in the 2001 season, and hope they continue in 2002. The Washery System Car Washes sponsorship will be missed next year.... Thank you Ed for your many years of sponsorship, and yes, Trish will still get her car washed at your car wash!!!!!
Have a great winter. We hope to see everyone at the Columbia Mall Race Car show, and at the 2001 Numidia and Beaver Springs banquet....
"Till next year....... later.... Warren & Jeremy

Day three of our three day Labor Day weekend is now history. Today at the Beaver, Jeremy took the win in the semi-finals over Jared Hafer who was #1 in time trials with a .500! This set up a dule between #1(Jeremy) and #2 (Steve Singley) in points for the finals! Steve red-lighted the race away, giving Jeremy his 6th win of the season at Beaver Springs, and his 8th of the year overall! Also with a 1103 points advantage, Jeremy will be the 2001 Beaver Springs Dragway Track Champion!
See ya at Numidia next Sunday for the last points race of the season!

Two of the three Labor Day weekend races are behind us! Last night at Beaver Springs, Jeremy faced Keystone Raceways Samantha Dubbs in the finals. Samantha, who was #1 in time trials with a .508, had Jeremy at the tree. With the help of Brian & Jason Weavers' "TAG" system, Jeremy ran the number picking up his 5th win of the season at The Beaver, locking-up the 2001 Beaver Springs Track Championship. Today at Numidia the story dosen't have as good of a ending. Jeremy faced Eddie Beidler first round. After a discussion about our dial, Jeremy said "ok" to my choice (8.89), and we went racing.. Jeremy had the better light and the car ran 8.881 (Jeremy wanted 8.88) OOPS! The win locked-up the 2001 Numidia Raceway Track Championship for Eddie. Our congrats go out to you and your entire team for your hard work, sportsmanship, and friendship!!!! Jeremy should finish 2nd in points at Numidia for 2001, with one points race to go. Jeremy said he may fire his crew-chief and car owner for that one, but he'll keep me as his dad!!!

Back to The Beaver tomorrow.. See ya there!

Jeremy lost second round today, to event winner Spencer Jones. Eddie Beidler lost finals to Spencer extending his points lead over Jeremy by another 207. Jeremy won first round over Jared Hafer, gaining 100 points on Jared who is third. Labor Day weekend next week! 3 races in 3 days, at 2 different tracks....
See ya at The Beaver, and Numidia next week!

We had grand time at Mason-Dixon!
To sum-up the weekend, Jeremy was #2 in qualofying with a .502 reaction time... There were 82 cars in his class (12-13 year olds). A red light in round 3 ended his hopes of "the big trophy", but he did get a small one for his efforts... Numidia racers have taken a lot of nasty comments from racers at other tracks, for not having any competition!!!! Well, let be known, Numidia went into Divisionals with only 6 cars.... Other tracks had 10 running for points. After quarter finals, Numidia was tied for 3rd in the overall standings.... and finished 7th overall!
Three points races left at Numidia.... See ya there!

For the second time this season at Numidia Raceway, Jeremy and his car both did great!! Usually, one is on and the other is off! Several "Maple Grove regulars" invaded Numidia today, setting up a Maple Grove vs Numidia final round! After running 3 back-to-back 9.05's, and good reaction times, Jeremy faced Justin Belmonte in the finals. Jeremy nailed Justin at the starting line with a .136 advantage, and ran a 9.06 on his 9.04 dial, giving Jeremy the win by .0218!
Next weekend, we'll be at the Division 1 Junior Dragster Championship at Mason-Dixon Dragway in Hagerstown, Md. Eddie Beidler will be the represenative for Numidia in the "Race-of-Champions".... We always have a great time at Mason-Dixon, and are looking forward to another this year...
Jeremy (#2 in Numidia points) cut Eddies' points lead almost in half today, when Eddie lost second round. Jeremy's hopes of back-to-back chapionships is still possible with 3 points races remaining this season!
See ya at Hagerstown next week!

Today was a good day for us. We gained 100 more points on point leader Eddie Biedler.
In first round I defeated Jared Hafer. I dialed a 9.14, ran a 9.19, and had the better reaction time to pick up the win.

In second round I raced Eddie's sister April. I dialed a 9.14 and broke out by runing a 9.07.

April went to the finals and lost to Whitney Jones.

Had a great time at the Pocono Raceway this weekend. Skip had a meeting with the first turn wall, in the final moments of happy hour Friday afternoon. Using the back-up car and starting dead last, he did a good job finishing 11th, 2 laps off the pace!
As for "dragracing", Jeremy picked up win #4 of the season today at Beaver Springs. Jeremy will be representing Beaver Springs at the IHRA Divisionals at MIR next month! We'll have more info soon!
See ya at Numidia Raceway next week!

If it was not for bad luck, we would have no luck at all!
Jeremy lost 1st round today to #1 in points Eddie Beidler. The loss was by a .022 break-out! To add insult to injury, Jeremy had the better reaction time, a .534 to Eddie's .562! Oh well, that's racin'! All classes of bracket racing will be taking off next weekend from Numidia, as they will be running the Federal Mogul Racing Series, (260 mph funny cars and dragsters). Me, I'll be trying to remember what is like to turn left at Pocono International Raceway, for the ARCA 200 this Friday and Saturday. Look out for the C.W. (Skip) Smith Racing #28.

Numidia called-off the racing last week due to rain, so I didn't do an entry. Today was not such a good day. Jeremy lost first round to Steven Singley, on a double breakout. Eddie Beidler went on to win the days event, his 6th of the season at Numidia, over Singley. Numidia management made the roster for the Division-1 championship today! This year It will be at Mason-Dixon Dragway, Hagerstown,Md. Eddie Beidler will be in the "race-of-champions" this year. His first of his career! Jeremy will be in the 13 year old class for divisionals, so he'll be able to run his car at the 7.90 rule!

NUMIDIA RACEWAY POINTS AFTER TODAY
1 - Edward Beidler ---- 3140
2 - Jeremy Campbell - 2305
3 - Jared Hafer --------- 1991
4 - Steven Singley ----- 1587
5 - April Beidler --------- 1577

See ya next week!!!!!!!!
