By Warren:
Much has happened in our lives from the time of Jeremy's last posting. Jeremy won the 2005 Numidia Raceway Junior Dragster Track Championship, (in his final seison driving a junior dragster) over Justin Bowden.

We have sold (I should say traded) Jeremy's junior dragster! Some people, even racers from "big car" classes, think junior dragsters are "toys". Well, just to let you know what a junior dragster is worth, Jeremy's junior dragster has a new home is in Walkertown, NC. The car was traded for, not sold! Jeremy now has a '85 928S Porsche! Yes, the model with the fuel injected V8!! (don't even ask what the insurance costs!) The 8.90 index motor Jeremy won at MIR with, will now pilot a 2005 Track Champions car from Boone, NC.

Phil is no loger owner/manager of Numidia Raceway. The Robert DiMino famly (DiMino's Express) are the new owners and operators of "Numidia Dragway"!!! A racers meeting was held at the Danville Elks yesterday. Track operations were outlined!!! The DiMino family "will" put the Numidia track back where it should be!! Many changes and improvements have been done, with more in the plans. The new web site is www.numidiadragway.net. Check the webpage for all information.

Jeremy has his NHRA "big car" license. His number is J-189! We are not sure yet what car or class he will run in 2006 yet.

Check back.... When we know, you'll know!!!

We couldn't have asked for a better Labor Day weekend! The weather was excellent and I did the "Hat-Trick" at Numidia winning all 3 days of racing Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. On Saturday and Sunday I beat Justin Bowden in the finals, and on Monday I beat Joey Lamond in the finals. It was double points first round all 3 days so I now have a very nice point lead heading into the final points races of the season. This is also my 6th win in a row at Numidia Raceway. I told my Dad I'm gunning for the record he set in 1988 at Port Royal Speedway of 8 consecutive event wins!!! My Dad is doing great, now he is back home, back to work, and back to the races! Next weekend is another double header at Numidia, Saturday and Sunday racing!
See you there!!!

I'm sad to report that we did not participate in any racing this weekend. My Dad and crew chief, Warren, was rushed to the emergency room thursday night for having chest pains. He is doing ok, but he has a 70% blockage in his heart that will need to be treated, but we should be back next weekend.
See ya at Numidia

The NHRA Junior Dragster Div 1 divisionals were held this weekend at Maple Grove. It was a tough weekend and it seemed that whatever I did someone did by just a hair better. I lost first round in the Race of Champions with a .019 light and .01 off the dial!! I lost 4th round in the age bracket by .007!! And I lost first round in the gamblers race by .010!! Oh well, I tried my best. As far as the way the race was run, I think Capitol did a better job holding the divisional race, I'm happy to see that it's going to Mason-Dixon next year. We will be at Numidia next weekend for the Jr Challenge!! See ya there!!

We had a great time at the IHRA Eastern Junior Nationals. I am happy to say that I am the new IHRA 8.90 Index class champion! I used my great reaction times and awesome car to pick up the win. My average reaction time in eliminations was a .029 and the car ran somewhere around 8.92 every pass. In my age class, 15-17, I made it to the 3rd round where I red lighted my chances away of winning the ironman.
MIR runs an excellent race and I'm sad that it was my last year racing at the IHRA Jr Nationals. I told Royce from MIR that "I'll be back, but in a big car!" Next weekend is the NHRA Divisional at Maple Grove. See ya there!

We got our blockzilla motor back on the car for this week thanks to our great engine specialists! The forecast for the day didn't look too good but we got the race in at Numidia! The result was another event win for me, my 3rd in a row. My lights were excellent all day, I was number 1 qualifier, and the car was running consistant 8.90s. In the final round, I had a reaction time advantage of .049 and ran a 8.94 on a 8.91 to clinch the event win over Cale Snyder!!
Next weekend is the IHRA Eastern Jr Nationals at MIR. I will be there participating in the 8.90 index class and in the 15-17 class. The following weekend we will be at the NHRA Division 1 Championships at Maple Grove. I will be racing in the Race of Champions for Numidia Raceway and in the 16-17 class. Hope to see you somewhere!
