PHOENIX ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ About the Phoenix: The Phoenix is a wooden out and back coaster with 2 trains that hold 24 people each. Phoenix is located at Knoebels Park, Pennsylvania. Phoenix is 78 feet tall, with a drop of 72 feet. It takes about 2 minutes for one complete ride around the Phoenix. Phoenix was formerly known as "The Skyrocket," at Joyland Park, Texas. The entire coaster was un-constructed into pieces and shiped to Pennsylvania and reconstructed by Charlie Dinn. Now The Phoenix is recently rated one of the top 5 best wooden rollercoasters in the world. RATING: 9.3 Here are some photos of the Phoenix. |

TWISTER ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ About The Twister: The Twister is a twisting wooden coaster. It has 2 trains that hold 24 people each. Construction on Twister started November 4, 1998 and the first train left the station July 23, 1999. The Twister is 102 feet high, with a drop of 90 feet. The Twister takes 2 minutes, 10 seconds for one complete ride around. RATING: 7.7 Here are some photos of The Twister. |

WHIRLWIND ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Whirlwind facts: Whirlwind is a steel looping coaster that used to be at Knoebels. It closed in 2006 to make way for the new rollercoaster "Flying Turns". RATING: 2.3 |
