Here it is, the sleeping giant. I bought this car in 1997, or should I say, rescued it from a barn. The original engine is long since gone, but it has a properly datad CE coded replacement block. The car has 56,000 miles on it, and I have verified this through old DMV records. They look to have been very hard miles though. There is not much for rust, but the dent collection is amazing. Most of the parts on the car are the originals, even the shocks, but as you can see, there is a lot of work to be done. I keep pushing the start date back on this car for the simple reason that I want to have every part on hand before I begin, and I'm not talking Pep-boys or Year-One parts, I am collecting everything original GM. This is a very long, time and cash intensive project and has become almost a hobby in itself. All I can say is when I have all the parts, It'll move into the main hanger, untill then, I'm gonna build some more hotrods, I've been fantasizing lately about a 406 powered Vega wagon!
