Editor's note: COLONIAL FAMILIES OF PHILADELPHIA: Editor Jordan has Joseph Cleaver listed as an executor. I am inclined to believe that Joseph was a witness, along with William Cleaver and William Kennedy.

Joseph Cleaver's wife was Catherine Diehl, daughter of Adam and Sarah.

William Cleaver's son, George Grier, was married to Jane Diehl, daughter of Adam and Elizabeth.

William Kennedy: Adjutant: Third Regiment: Delaware Militia for New Castle County (Source: Scharf's HISTORY OF DELAWARE, pp 815 - 817). Also was a member of the State House of Representatives, New Castle County, 1830, 1844 (Source: Conrad's HISTORY OF THE STATE OF DELAWARE, pp 273, 274).
