A few of my many auction wins of those rare, hard-to-find collectibles...

One of my early wins. Found a Mini-Me doll that looks like my dog (this picture is actually a video still; notice matching top knots)!
Auction: eBay.
Paid $46; starting bid: $25.99.
9th bidder.
Searched "shih tzu"
Reason for bidding: My liver/white Shih Tzu named BEAU, CGC,TDI (above picture) who's my 1st dog and VERY special! This item's maker's unknown, but I'm assuming it originated in Florida. Made with Angora rabbit hair (shedded, not killed!).

This seller was an actress whose daughter appeared on Disney TV's Even Stevens.
Auction: eBay.
Paid $8.50 using Buy It Now feature.
Only bidder.
Searched "tuxedo cat"
Item made by 'Creations by Carole'.
Reason for bidding: I had a tuxedo cat named CLEO who went over the Rainbow Bridge. She was my 1st pet/1st cat and also VERY special! This item represented her ways authentically.

Persian cat copper cookie cutter by Martha Stewart/Martha by Mail. I wanted this cookie cutter badly...I use it as a stencil for scrapbooking (not necessarily for baking cookies). marthabymail.com would not sell me this item individually; I didn't want to pay $40+ for a set of cat designs- I only wanted to buy this Persian design and was very happy to see it up for bid on eBay. Also, I was very fortunate in this auction, because after I won, this seller was suspended by eBay for non-payment of her past auctions, and I was lucky enough that she was honest with me and sent me this item- whew!
Auction: eBay.
Paid $4.75 (a steal); starting bid: $3.99.
3rd bidder.
Searched "martha stewart + cookie cutter"
Item originally created by Martha Stewart.
Reason for bidding: I wanted a template whether flat or cookie cutter that looks like RUDY my wonderful & beautious (red/white) Persian cat, whom I adopted after Cleo departed.

Girl stamper wood-mount rubber stamp. This girl is me! This is something that's seemingly never found in rubber stamp stores; most of the time the good stuff is over at eBay!
Auction: eBay.
Paid $9.98.
Only bidder (& probably tricky to find in Search!).
Searched "rubber stamp + girl"
Item made by 'Art Impressions'.
Reason for bidding: I wanted a girl stamper that represents my love of a rubber stamping hobby, simply put!

Rubber-stamp shaped swimming pool wood-mount rubber stamp(!)
Auction: eBay.
Paid $7.75 (from a fellow Phoenix, Arizona eBay-er); starting bid: $6.75.
2nd bidder (& probably also tricky to find in Search!).
Searched "rubber stamp + pool"
Item made by 'Stamps in Motion'.
Reason for bidding: I wanted a pool rubber stamp and when saw this particular stamp, I wanted it!

For laughs...

"Thanks for the great gift!"
[Thinking] I wonder how much I can get for it on 'eBay'...
