Finishing

The ring is removed from the casting of investment and the sprue is removed by clipping it off. Then a diamond disc is used to blend the texture into the ring masking any signs that the sprue ever exsisted.

Polishing

A buffing wheel that has had a compound applied, will give that final shine.
