I love the "Air Force Song"
but it is very repetitive and if you are like me,
it starts to grate on your nerves after a while.
Turn it off if it bothers you.
Midi loaded is"Air Force Song"
My name is Bobby Guier, MSgt., USAF, Ret. I spent 5 years at Beale AFB, CA. in the SR-71 program. I was assigned to the SAS/Autopilot section of 9th AMS from mid 1965 through mid 1970. I was the shop NCOIC and was given the responsibility, under the direction of our Honeywell Tech Reps, of establishing our in-shop testing facility. We set up the mock-ups and related test equipment to perform the testing and repairing of system aircraft components. We had a very good shop and I'm proud of our achievements.
During that time, I left Beale only twice. Once to attend the NCO Accademy at March AFB where I was rated in the top 10 of my class. The other time I went to Okinawa in support of our detachment there. Having had tours in the Far East previously (Japan and Okinawa), I was more comfortable than most in the new surroundings.
I became Section Supervisor for a short period after SMSgt Bob Taylor retired in early 1970. I received my orders to go to SEA once more- this time to Thailand.
