that was the best thing ever happen to me. i got a job working for the stars and stripes newspaper, and ive been all over the far east and some other little countries .. i did lots of work for the U.S.O. Then i really took off..i join an air force band and we played from south korea to japan, and some of those little islands out in the far east ..later on we went back to the states where we played in the ample theater in nashville tenn .. they thought we was good at our music, so they let us open up for some of the great stars. WEBB PIERCE--TEDDY AND DOIL--THE WILBURN BROTHERS.. ROY ACUFF--UNCLE GOSS, AND DAVE MACON--HALK SHAW HOCKINS---SLIM WHITMAN... THEN AFTER THAT WE THOUGHT WE WERE GOOD---HERS A BUNCH OF RED NECKS OPENING UP THR SHOW FOR ALL THOSE BIG STARS...WE MADE 2 RECORDS, ILL TELL THE ANGLES TO TAKE CARE OF YOU AND LONELEY STREET.....WE SOLD ENOUGH RECORDS TO GET A RIDE ON THE GREYHOUND BACK TO ALABAMA... ANY WAY WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME IN THE U.S.O. CO. HAVE TO TELL YOU THIS---WE GOT ON THE RADIO SHOW SINGING COUNTRY GOSPEL MUSIC, @ 530 in the morning..so after the bank took our van, we all thought it would be a good time to retire from music, for a while anyways..so after that i wised up and went into the video buss...with i stay for 37 years..we started out doing car commercials for car dealers,...and i got in with RCA-DELTA .Cloummble--AND SUN RECORDS--WE DID THE VIDEOS FOR SOME OF THE COUNTRY MUSIC YOU SEE ON T.V..THEY TOOK THE VIDEOS AND WE DID E EDINTY.SPLICING.TO GET THE VIDEO READY FOR IT GRAND DAY TO BE BROADCAST ON T.V.
