John Henry SAR K-9, Mar 4, 1994 - May 7, 2004 John Henry and I started in Search and Rescue in 1996 with Sonoran Search and Rescue in Pinal county AZ. This Page is Dedicated in His HONOR. John worked many years and searches , he cleared every search section assigned to us, and also had several bone finds to his credit.He never missed or left behind humans ,remains, or evidense. John didn't have any major "FINDS" , But that is luck of the draw on which sector you search and Clearing an area and knowing you didn't leave behind a victim or evidence is just as Important. you don;t ever want to have a Deputy come back and say, we found them in your cleared area! If it was in John's area, He found it. Search and Rescue is a Team Effort, and Credit should and does go to the Whole Team. John was stalor in behavior whenever in the public eye, and was a ham for the media, always up for a joke. I hope you get to know John Henry and come to see and love his Character and personality as much as I do. and Please remember all Search dogs and thier Handlers are here to serve you the public, At Any Time, Anywhere, Any Place, NO CHARGE.
