RAFFLE INFORMATION: We are having Raffles to help raise funds for the expenses of the Canoe Journey 2001 to Squamish, B.C., July 18 - August 3. PROGRESS REPORT: First Raffle outreach opportunities were at the Nisqually Pow Wow, and Super Saturday Event at Evergreen College, June 8 and 9. Allen was instrumental in setting up and personing the table at both places. He was also a very effective "Information Officer" explaining to the people about the Canoe Journey, and the significant role that it has to our Community, Culture, and our youth. UPDATE: The Drawing was held, and winners will be announced on this site soon. ============================= We are seeking additional opportunities for announcing the Raffle, listing and displaying the items, and selling the tickets. Donations of cash and of Raffle items are being gratefully accepted! Donations of your time to help facilitate these efforts will also be appreciated!
