LAST UPDATED MAY 20, 2008. We live in tropical Oceanside where the temperature is 70 degrees year around on the average. Living on the Pacific has brought us much joy and sometimes despair with fires and eartquakes and there is also a dormant volcano. Our most recent fires devistated California and made International News. We were trapped by the fires here in Oceanside. Everyone thought I was silly when I started sealing up all of the windows and the doors, I didn't want smoke to get in, there was no smoke everyone said, but, I could smell a faint smoke in the air and I didn't waste any time, while everyone just ignored it. Then the fires started bringing in a lot of smoke early the next morning and no one was prepared. For my home I had already the night before packed up things in suitcases and documents and emergency kits. I had already been through too many tornadoes back east and a few small earthquakes here. We were finally trapped right here in Oceanside, we were within a circle that wasn't burning. To the north to Los Angeles everything was on fire and it was moving south towards us. To the east in San Marcos where my son attended the private school there, everything was burning down and the fires were moving rapidly west towards us, we were trapped in a circle of hell. To the south of us in San Diego the fires were already burning within the city limits and they were rapidly moving north to us. The only way out was west to the ocean just four miles away, it was horrible, we would look outside and you couldn't see for the smoke from all of the fires. Then the people from the north, the east, the west and tthe south in San Diego started flooding into our tiny area, they had no where to go but to here, they wanted to live and they came here to Oceanside to be saved. The grocery stores couldn't keep food and the hotels were full. I have never seen the devistatiion since living in California that we saw and experienced. The firefighters kept us from being burned down, they saved our lives, they never let the fires get to where I live and we thank our Father in Heaven that he spared us. We never saw fires like this, never. We do plan on staying around for awhile. We are blessed with all kinds of tropical plants that bloom year around and sea birds, parrots and sea life of seals, whales and more. I believe our sister city is Pago Pago of The South Pacific Islands and The Islanders come here for festivities and dancing every year. We are also sister city to Fuji, Japan. The Untied States recognizes me as a Princess as it is on my legal documents and government records and my paychecks and bank accounts. I work for The United States Government as a Home health care provider for 14 years now for my income and The Government of The United States recognizes me as "Princess," it is on all official records and payroll. I make no money from my webpages and site, I do it solely to Represent Seborga The Sovereign and to also tell people if I want about the village of Seborga, to bring this wonderful, magical place to you, my friends. The only money I make is from my job as a home health care provider. I have been reviewed all the time by The Government and they know my private income. I have appeared in many newspapers and on television several times, I am also an honored American Poet and prefer to be recognized as a Poet.

WHERE DO BIRDS GO TO DIE?

I often ask myself
Where do birds go to die?
They soar above our help.
We see them often around us in the sky,
But where do they go to die?
We enjoy the songs they bring.
They are gifts from God indeed,
Oh how the Bluebird sings,
Delicate and lovely is the Chickadee.
So much pleasure to see,
A Red Cardinal against the backdrop of snow.
The songs of the Robin in a oak tree
Makes beautiful music that flows
Throughout our hearts and souls,
But where do they all go?
The swan is a lonely bird when its lover dies.
The eagle soars rapturously above the skies.
Where does the Meadow Lark and the Blue Jay lie
In their final resting place before they die?
What about the Whippoorwill and the songs he sings,
Is he dying? A pensive thought it brings.
Where do birds go to die?
Why, they fly towards God above the heavenly skies.
Their tired little wings carry them through
The milky way and the cresent's blue.
Onward to their final destiny,
To God in heaven they forever sing,
What joy to the angels they bring,
With their holy songs they sing.
From their eyes they'll never cry,
For it is there in Heaven they'll never die.
Forever they'll fly safely in Heaven's pure clear,
Far away safely from polluted skies.
The little birds to God are so dear,
They are so much a precious thing.
He holds them unto his heart so dear,
For he knew what special gifts they bring.
In his castle they forever sing.

I am going to post a photo of Adam when we were at the Bird Lagoon, a place for protecting birds. There are all kinds of birds there and we have many times gone there. You will be able to see the birds all around Adam at The Lagoon close to where we live!

My name "Teresa" is my birthname. I am the namesake of a Queen of Austria. I was named after Empress Maria Teresa. When I was little I was called Princess and Princess is part of my name, it is my name on all legal documents.

I had many happy memories here. I wrote poems here, ate here, played here and after the castle burned (I'm not for sure, but, it may have burned close to the time The Royals' castle burned in England, but, I could be wrong, but, anyway, I called back and the people living there were living on site in trailers. The castle was donated to the disabled for them to live there and to teach them to work and so forth. They asked if Adam and I would come back and live there and they were looking for funds to rebuild the castle. I would have loved working with the students there.
