A bio of Kathryn (Kathy) Thompson
Here is a brief sharing of my "story."
I am Kathryn Thompson, Bob's new bride.
I am a coordinator for David Hoffmeister, who travels all over the world sharing spiritual gatherings. David is presently in Canada. When we left Wisconsin, I came back to Cincinnati, OH, where we are based, to pack my things up. I also have to set things up for David to handle everything without having me, right here at the house.
I will tell you more about myself:
I was born in Congo, Africa. My parents were missonaries there, and so were my grandparents on my mothers side of the family. I also have an uncle and aunt who were missionaries too. There is another uncle who is a minister in the family that I talked with today, who is the international minister for the church that I grew up in. As I grew up, we lived in a variety of places, because my father was a minister, so we would travel as we were guided to. I've lived in:
New York City, Crouton on Hudson, NY, Bethel, KY, Hollywood, FL, Clarksville, IN,
Paris, KY, Lexington, KY., then Cincinnati, OH. Now, onto Wisconsin. Before Lexington, we lived in each area around four years. I lived in Lexington fifteen years, and have been in Cincinnati for fourteen years.
My life has been packed full of many blessed miracle experiences, and I am eternally grateful for them.
I went to Transylvania University for college in Lexington, KY. I have always had a strong spiritual focus, because of my families orientation initially. It has continued to be my guiding light. When I lived in Lexington, I started going to a Unity church, and felt inspired by it. It was there that I was introduced to "A Course in Miracles." It is a book that shares the ideas that have drawn Bob and myself together powerfully. It is about living in the miracle always. I really appreciate it. I moved to Cincinnati in 1999, and was involved in two Unity centers here, after coming to town. Then, was guided to the Peace House, where I met David. Since then, I have shared extensively with David and many who've visited from all over the world. David, myself, and a variety of others have been traveling for fourteen years sharing spiritual gatherings. David has done it for fourteen years, and I have lived here for five, and have assisted him all of the time that I've been here. Then, have been traveling with him for around three years. I am the one that people write to when they want to invite us to share a gathering. It has been and is a very enriching experience, that I am very grateful for, and blessed to share.
Bob and I feel a very strong connection to each other. It is one that can't be described with words. You will understand when you see us together. We highly love and respect each other so much! He is the answer to my prayer for a partner with whom I can share a clear and strong loving relationship with. It is one in which we can talk about anything. It feels very freeing! We both feel that the door of our home is always open. An idea that we strongly share is: "The door may be shut, but it has no lock." Meaning that everyone is welcome! Thank you so much for all of the open sharings that you've had with Bob, he greatly appreciates it, and so do I! This is fantastic! Bob and I first communicated in the Summer, when David and another person were traveling through Portage, and stayed with him one night and held a gathering. Bob and I corresponded a little then, which was in June. Then, he invited us to return for an intensive gathering in October. Bob sent e-mails to everyone who was coming to the gatherings from then up until it happened. As the time for this got closer, he and I talked a few times. When we really talked more, I felt the love and enthusiasm that he shares very clearly. Then, David and I arrived at Bumpity for the gatherings. They started on October 1 and went through October 8. During these days, Bob and I shared more and more each day. On the last day, we shared even more. I felt a clear connection with him pretty early in the gatherings. Then, it got stronger and stronger. On the last day of the gatherings, we both felt it strongly. Then, decided to marry the next day. We invited everyone who was there to participate in our sharing of the holy union of marriage. It is very powerful! I feel blown away everytime I talk about it, wow. It is so beautiful!

Dear friends,
Yes, Bob and I are going to live together at Bumpity Road. Right now, I am going back to Cincinnati, OH where I've been living for several years. I am the coordinator for David Hoffmeister, who travels throughout the world sharing spiritual gatherings. Since this all has come as a surprise, I am going back to Cincinnati, OH to pack up and handle things there before moving to Bumpity Road. To answer the questions that I can: I'm sure that we will be doing some traveling. I don't know where or when. The plans that we seem to have are to live at Bumpity, and share love and peace. The door may be shut, but it has no lock! You and everyone is always welcome to come and share with us there and anywhere. We're not sure about kids. I realize that you said you had to slip that in there. Bob has certainly had plenty and many, so we'll see what the angels bring together. We are not in charge. I am looking forward to meeting you!

Hi all,
Kathryn (Kathy), both her parents, and her grandparents, have all had an open door policy with everyone, all of their lives. She coordinates activities for the The Foundation for the Awakening MInd out of their Peace House in Cincinnati, Ohio, and, David's travel and speaking arrangements around the world.
Thus, she will be returning to Ohio, tomorrow, to finish up things that require her presence.
