HUALALAI

And if you wake up early enough, be sure to go out on the lanai to see the sunrise over magnificent Hualalai.

POOLSIDE

After a "tough and stressful" day in Paradise relax and unwind by our solar- heated oceanside swimming pool. Splash around while the ocean splashes a few feet away. Your only distraction will be the setting sun.

POOLSIDE TOO

These pictures of the pool were taken from the pool deck, which is on the opposite side of the building from our condo. Our unit faces Kailua Bay and the lagoon/beach area next door,

THE "LAZY LAGOON"

Just below our lanai is a large protected lagoon with a sandy beach. It is ideal for sunbathing, snorkeling, or swimming. There are thousands of tropical fish to admire. Be sure to say hello to our resident gentle giant who lives in the lagoon. His name is Hal. He is a three foot sea turtle who loves swimming with our guests.

A STREETSIDE VIEW

Frances took this picture of our building and the lagoon beach from Kahakai Road. Our building is located on this little side street next door to the Royal Kona Resort, Our unit is the corner suite on the top (fourth) floor on the left. There are only 39 units in this intimate little hideaway. Hospitality is our specialty.

THE VIEW FROM THE LAGOON

As you can see from this photo, all the units in our little hideaway are oceanfront. The ocean "wraps around" our building forming this secluded and peaceful natural pool. Perfect for snorkeling!!

To access the lagoon/beach area, simply walk next door to the Royal Kona Resort. All shoreline in Hawaii (by law) has to be accessible to the general public.

"CORAL REEF" BEACH

A few steps past the south end of our building will lead you to an idyllic sandy beach perfect for bodysurfing, sunbathing or collecting coral which practically litters the beach. YES, you CAN take some home with you!!

A KONA KITCHEN

Start your morning right with a fresh brewed cup of rich Kona coffee in our fully equiped kitchen. Bright, cheerful and spotlessly clean....you will find everything you need (even chopsticks).

"HAPPY HAOLE" ON THE LANAI

Frances took this photo from the bedroom window (while resting on the king-size bed). As you can see, our top floor, corner unit faces the coastline and has a diagonal view of the ocean. This is often referred to as a 3/4 view since you cannot see the horizon over the ocean until you're about halfway into our condo.

This arrangement also offers you the maximum privacy since you do not have twenty or thirty other units that are facing your lanai. Your family can enjoy the beauty of Hawaii in complete privacy.

WATCHING TV WAS NEVER THIS MUCH FUN!!

You probably won't spend much time watching television, but we have two of them ( just in case you are so exhausted from the many things to do and see while on the Big Island).

Why watch TV when you can see the ocean from our sofa (or gaze at each other)?
