Now a bit about Us We at Country Pride Ranch strive to breed Poodles that conform to the AKC Standard. One of our main goals is to produce Poodles that have an Outgoing Temperment, Loving Personality, structually sound and heathly bodies that are beautiful in appearence. Our puppies are Sweet, Playful, Intelligent dogs that are eager to please. We fell in love with the Standard Poodles because we wanted a dog that didn't shed, but that was Intelligent and Versitile. We found that you can do about anything with these Wonderful Dogs. At Country Pride Ranch Standard Poodles, we are striving to get a dog that looks great and can also be useful. We use our dogs for Obedience, Therapy, and to greet people at our Grooming Shop. Standard Poodles are also capable of Tracking, Search and Rescue training, Agility, Service Dog work, and Hunting. Two of our big males even pull a cart and give children cartrides. The ability of the Poodle is limited only by your imagination. If you want a Poodle to do something, just show it how. I have even heard of Poodles doing Herding and used for Schutzhund (attack work) Clients that have bought our dogs have used them as guide dogs, used them for Police work, and used them in Search and Rescue. Of course they also make great family pets as well. Poodles rank number one in Trainabiity and number 2 in intelligence. They follow the Border Collie who is currently number one. For a Smart and Intelligent dog, you just can't beat owning a Poodle.

We raise our dogs in a family atmosphere around a variety of circumstances including children, other pets, and routine familly living. Your puppy will be accoustomed to daily household sounds that you hear everyday. Such sounds include the vacuum cleaner, dishwasher and a hairdryer. We use these products around the puppies even before their ears were open so they would be used to the sounds. They also get accoustomed to climbing stairs, different surfaces under their feet, and even going outside. They will have been started on Potty Training and we will show you how to continue their training when they go to live in your home.
