[Important note: Some MSN TV users reported using www.skweezer.net to access encrypted websites that could not be accessible directly. However, use Skweezer with caution, as it is actually a '3rd-person'. When you access sites through Skweezer to make a purchase, you are actually accessing through Skweezer first.]
addendum to another listing
~~~
This list is intended for those who'd like to check non-compatible sites before taking the time to surf these sites only to encounter a block, before signing up, etc. on these sites. Saves valuable time, right? If you know any personal or business websites not listed here that are not currently MSN TV-browser compatible, please e-mail at tvwebgirl@webtv.net. You may also want to help report to them to let their web developers know to beta-test for MSN TV compatibility. Thanks!
Note to webmasters: MSN TV's current browser is:
MSIE 4.0
Suggestion to PC users (IE or Netscape): Most of the inaccessible problems are associated with your online stores whom you signed up with SSL encryption services to have a 'shopping cart' on their sites to sell safely and securely. Before signing up, be sure to inquire whether their browsers are Mac and WebTV friendly. Why waste money and business to services who provide to some browsers. Otherwise, PayPal.com isall-browser friendly(update: currently works on browser 2.8.2 or 2.7, no longer 2.9.1). Testing on my own WebTV browser, I've contacted a few e-businesses to let them know their shopping carts are not working and instead of investigating, they would suggest that I'd call or mail in my orders. No thanks, I'm not interested in going that inconvenient route. So, I make a U-turn and order from a much more reliable source...and post their e-businesses on this list. Their loss, right?
