QUESTIONABLE CONTENT

An inexpert attempt at contradicting the contradictions

Hello

This blog's been created in the hope that knowledge is power, and the certainty that ignorance is its antithesis. It's mainly a compilation of information and insight from various sources that I thought worth passing along.

I'll be tossing in my grossly overvalued two cents, as well (denoted by asterisks). That said, I'd like to think I'm smart enough to know what I don't know, and that I'll make that clear when necessary.

I'm happy to hear from folks. Disagreement is welcome ... but only if it's civil. You can be as vociferous as you wish ... but personal attacks will simply be flushed as soon as they're apparent.

Let's do the mensch thing.

Make sense? If so, you can reach me at unlikelysource@webtv.net.

For easier navigation, links to previous pages can be found here:

http://community.webtv.net/unlikelysource

And a note on DEMOCRACY NOW! posts:

I may be stating the obvious, but it's a good idea to check the DN! Headlines every weekday.

There's a link to them at the bottom of each segment I post ... and of course you can go to http://www.democracynow.org on the rare days when I don't have anything from the program.

Thanks for visiting ... I hope you'll find it worth your while.

*Why don't we just dispense with the pretense and sell off the naming rights to federal departments, buildings and monuments?

I'd propose a lease auction for naming rights on an annual basis. Might make a bit of a dent in the national debt, don't you think?
