Cold weather and the holidays are upon us. Hopefully all of you are prepared for the cold weather, and that you are starting to prepare for the holidays.
I wanted to let you know what we have coming up in the Auxiliary so you could get involved and join us.
On Saturday, December 1st we are having a jewelry, craft and bake sale. It will be from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It will be held at the Community Center on N Fremont St. (The old fire station.) We need all of your help to make this a success. The proceeds of this will go to help pay for our obligations. Please come out and help.
Our next meeting will be December 12th, we will meet at Harry O,s in Cedar Lake on Rt. 41. It is our Christmas party. Everyone is to pay for their own meal. Please bring a $10.00 gift for the gift exchange at the Christmas party. We will also be taking gifts to the Lowell Nursing Home to give to the patients for Christmas. So please bring a few small gifts so we can present them to the patients. They really enjoy getting them. Thanks
As I have told you before Sisters, the Auxiliary funds are really low so we need all of your to make these fund raisers a success.
I want to thank all of you who have sent in your dues. Please keep them coming in. Remember that with your $10.00 dues, that pays for your cancer grant insurance. How can you get that for only $10.00 a year. So please get those dues sent in to Dee Kennedy. Thanks.
I want to thank you for electing me President, I am enjoying my job and learning a lot. We are all trying to work together to make this year a success.
