I was born and raised in Pittsburgh Pa. Have lived here for 60 years.      I'm the oldest of 4, 3 sisters and 1 brother.      I was married at the age of 18, had two sons, Arnel Vernon who is 40, Cornel Leslie who is 38. The marriage didn't last.      I have 5 grands kids, 2 girls and 3 boys.

My favorite color is purple, the music I like is Lite Jazz, Gospel, and some R&B.      Love to watch tv or watch movies while being on the web, I alway have two tv's going. Even watch my soaps while I am on the web working. Even fell a sleep with the web on and the keyboard in my lap. I am just HOOKED on the web tv.

I like to sew, love to travel, work in the garden, anything that has to do with using my hands. Just love flowers.      I love stripping furniture, redoing and antiquing them, why should I buy new when I can redo? That keeps my hands busy.

I like to crochet, in 1965, my mother, for christmas bought me some crochet hooks and knitting needles, and an instruction book, which I still have.      I started out making granny squares, and ended up making covers for beds, the squares kept getting bigger and bigger. I rather crochet then knit.

I like to work on cars. I think that every woman that drive's a car should know something about them.      If you have a husband or boyfriends that work on your cars, when he does, get out there with him, and watch what he does, so that you can learn what makes the car run, that is how I learned, I even helped to put a transmission in, on a lot beside my house in the 70"s.
