A LITTLE ABOUT ME Hello, I am so glad you decided to drop by, My name is Carolyn, I am the mother of three, grandmother of six, two per child. Nice little family, don't you think? I have lived here in Lincoln County for all of my 65 years. Never been out of a 10 mile radius in my life. So, I guess you could say, I've put down roots. I don't ever want to live anywhere else, but , you have to understand Home is where the Heart is, and things could change. I have been married to the same man for 48 years. We have been through a lot of bad as well as good times. I have had a good bit of sickness in my life, and the last major hurdle was triple by-pass surgery in 1994, last of June. I count myself very fortunate to have made it this long. Let me tell you a true story, I was saved when I was 15 yrs. old. I followed the Lord in baptism, joined the church, and like so many of you, was hot and cold, as the years went on. I am so ashamed to admit it, but the truth is the truth. I let my Lord down at times. Then there were times when I was so close to him, I could have reached out and touched the hem of his garmet.These were the good days of life. In January of 1994, I started back to church, and it was somehow different. I found I was serving a completely new Savior,(felt like) our pastor was preaching a sermon about the whole armor of God, well, I wanted that whole armor, and It was then that God really came into my life and stayed till even now. He has meant so much to me, he is always there when I have needed him. It was under the preaching of Rev. Carl Wyatt, and his teaching, that I grew in Gods love and his plan for my new life, and I am glad to say, he is still the King of my life. I grew so close to him, stayed in prayer all through the day, and it was not until night that I would say Good Night to my Father, because I never ended a prayer, I always was telling him something else. Then, some of you, who have not had the experience, may not believe me, but I was in my kitchen one day talking to the Lord and I smelled the most wonderful aroma I ever smelled, it was strange to say the least. I was looking all around and smelling everything in the kitchen, you would have thought me touched, if you had witnessed that, but it was him and I knew it, like he was letting me know he was near, I have since only smelled it twice more. I don't mean to bore you, but, I have to tell this, I have pictures to prove it, if I had a scanner to show you, I would, and if I can get someone to do it for me, I will. Standing in the kitchen one Saturday evening, I looked out the window and out there in front of my house was a rainbow. It was no higher then 8 or 10 ft high, I said to myself, Please God let it stay there, it did and I ran for the camera, and I got the pictures, It was only about 30 ft long, both ends could be seen. My pastor ask me what I thought it meant, and I told him, when I found out, I would let him know, well I did find out. One day as I was meditating, to my heart the Lord spoke to me, saying this rainbow I gave to you as a symbol, that you are mine, and never will I let anybody pluck you out of my hands. IT WAS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME. I just pray that he will help me through my life to help somebody else.

ISN'T IT WONDERFUL TO HAVE GOOD FRIENDS, I HAD SOME BEFORE I GOT THE LITTLE BLACK BOX, BUT MY LIFE IS SO RICH NOW, WITH SO MANY NEW ONES, AND MY OLD ONES TOO, I HAVE TO SAY THANKS TO YOU ALL, IF I FORGET ANYBODY PLEASE FORGIVE ME, THERE IS DEBBIE, KATHY, BETTY, SUZIE, DENISE, BABY FACE, TRICIA, DANA, MARY, STEVE, FLINT, MIKE, JOE, JIM, ERIC,SCOTT,RIC, JENN, SHARON, FRANCES, JOY, JOEANN, AARON, SEAN, BRANDY, ALLISON, SCOTT, JO ANN, RIC, LINDA, LUCILLE, ADAM, ANOTHER DEBBIE (NY) I JUST KNOW I HAVE FORGOTTEN SOME, BUT MY PASTOR SCOTT BELONGS HERE TOO. THEY PIERCED HIS SIDE

EASTER How many of us have even thought about the wonderful meaning of Easter? If not for what happened over 2,000 years ago, we would have no hope of salvation. PTL Jesus came and died for me, and not only that, he died for YOU, He is waiting for you to say, Jesus, I want you in my heart and life, I want to serve you, and spend eternity in Heaven with you for ever. Give him your heart today, Just bend your knee and ask him in and he will indeed come to live in your heart and soul today, and Heaven will be your gain. Confess your sin, invite him in, and live for him, it is AWESOME. He is NO longer in the Tomb, HE AROSE.
