"Aja"
Aja Leith, is the Chinese-American member of the group, & plays lead guitar. Aja came to the Starlight foundation (the foster home for girls formerly run by Jerrica & Kimber's mother), as a very young girl. And grew up to be like another sister to both of them. Aja is the "tomboy", loves to fix things, & has a love for driving, and for exotic cars & motorcycles. She is very athletic, & always makes sure her & the girls at Starlight house get a good work out. She is very well respected in the household, & each of the girls think twice before disobeying her. Aja is very dependable & loyal to her friends. She is very blunt & straight-forward, & sometimes stubborn, ...but never lets it get out of hand. Aja can be very sarcastic in a good humorous way, ...& usually is. She is also Jerrica's best friend.
"Shana"
African-American, Shana Elmsford, is a shy, but multi-talented woman.
Originally the bands drummer for the 1st couple of years, she took a break, & then went to persue one of her life-long dreams to make it as a Fashion Designer. (She designs most of the Holograms outfits). Although still talented in that field, Shana decided that her place was in the band, & came back to play her other instrument, ...Bass guitar. (Raya took her place as drummer). Shana was also a foster girl that Jerrica & Kimber's mother took in. She also grew up with the others. She is not one to argue, & gets along with everyone without a problem. If u get on her bad side, ...she can be snappy, & won't waste time. She currently dates video-director Anthony Julian. In the Starlight House, ...she is looked up to as the "mother" figure.
"Kimber"
Kimber Benton is Jem / Jerrica's younger sister.
She usually writes the lyrics to most of their songs, & plays Keyboards. Kimber is younger than Jerrica by a few years, & is the energetic, fun, young, "teeny-bopper" of the group. She was also very close to her faher.
On occassion, she is known to throw tantrums & get into arguements, feeling her sister & the group are breathing down her neck and trying to; "tell her what to do".
Being young & inexperienced with many things in life, Kimber sometimes does things without thinking. And is known to fall in love way to quickly which ends up in heartbreak.
Besides other guys, she is most attracted to Jeff Wright (stuntman), & Sean Harrison (the Brittish "Teen Idol"). On & off, she is usually involved with both, which makes the tabloids & press go into a media-frenzy!
"Raya"
The Latin-American member of the Holograms, Raya Carmen Alonso, joined the group as drummer by winning a talent search contest that was held after Shana left to be a fashion designer for a famous actress. (Shana later returned playing bass guitar).
Raya is a very shy & soft-spoken personality.
She is smart, has a passion for music, & is close to her family, especially her father. She has 3 brothers. She is very true to her friends, keeps her word, & loves children. She doesn't get angry that easily, but when she does, ..it aint pretty!
She discovered Jem's secret on accident, & almost told Eric Raymond (The Misfits manager), for a contract with "Misfits Music".
But she quickly saw what Eric & his girls were all about, and soon befriended Jem & The Holograms. Raya is probably one of the warmest characters of the series.

"Video"
Vivian Montgomery (aka: Video), is Jem's video Director. She is also cousin's with her own rival, ...(The Misfit's #1 sidekick), ..."Clash". Out of envy, Clash is determined to make Video's life a living hell. But Video knows how to handle her cousin. Throughout the years, Video has become a very good & loyal friend to Jem & The Holograms.
Her partner is non other than famous music video director Anthony Julian, also known as Shana's boyfriend.
"Danse"
Giselle DiVorsjack, better known as "Danse", is Jem's choreoagrapher. They met through Video. She occasionaly appears with them performing on stage. & Is very easy to approach & talk to. She is of Russian descent , but was raised in the U.S. Her mother was a famous ballerina, & immagrated from Yugoslavia to the west, when Danse was just a baby. She gave up her passion, to wait tables to survive & make a living. All for the good cause; to make sure her daughter went to dance school. At the age of 9, her life was changed forever, when she was separated from her mother who had an accident that caused amnesia, & she was given to foster parents. Authorities looked for her mother, but declared her dead. Danse now runs a shelter for runaways. & Has become very close friends with Jem & The Holograms. She lost her legs in an accident at a video shoot, ..but through therapy, & hard work, ...she fully recovered. She considers Jem one of her best friends.
