Mark David Music BioMARK DAVID MUSIC BIO

Primarily a self-taught bass player since the age of 14, Mark David was influenced by all styles of music (from Yngwie Malmsteen to Diana Krall to Barry Manilow).  He studied music theory at to Schenectady County Community College to further his music knowledge.

In the early 90's, Mark formed the progressive metal band Kyrie Ellison. This band performed numerous shows in upstate New York, sharing the same stage with national acts including Armored Saint and Chastain.  Radio airplay was achieved in Vermont, Massachusetts, and hometown Albany, New York. As time passed and grunge rock became popular, time away from the limelight was needed.  Not having a heart for playing grunge, the next step was a career change.

Mark began working in radio as an on-air personality.  Learning the tools of the trade at The New School of Radio & Television, ten years and several radio stations later, Mark is a weekend personality for 94 ROCK in Albany, New York.

The fall of 1998 brought Mark together with former schoolmate, Mike Campese.  Although it was a full year before the two paired up in a band, the initial meeting rekindled a passion for performing GREAT music.  It was time once again to hit the stage.  With Mark and Mike's unlimited abilities and talent, the possibilities seemed endless!

In closing, MUSIC is the greatest form of entertainment! A song can take a listener through a journey through past, present, and future.  My biggest goal in life-"is to give back to an art that has given so much to me"
